A con­tem­po­rary low-energy home con­structed using the Izodom ICF system supplied by Econekt, providing a highly insulated, airtight and thermally efficient building envelope.

A structural ICF instal­la­tion, taking the project from the structural shell through to the com­ple­tion of the external façade. The ICF system provides both the structural strength and high levels of continuous insu­la­tion required for a modern, energy-efficient home, helping to minimise heat loss and reduce long-term energy demand.

The completed property combines brick slip and rendered wall finishes, demon­strat­ing the flex­i­bil­ity of ICF con­struc­tion to achieve a tra­di­tional archi­tec­tural appearance while retaining the per­for­mance benefits of a modern insulated concrete structure.

Careful attention was given to the ICF instal­la­tion, structural detailing, openings and interfaces to ensure the building performed as designed and provided a high-quality base for the final external finishes.
